Louis Berlin is the lead principal of Synergix, the parent company of the Financial Fitness brand. He has dedicated his life to the pursuit of professional excellence, philanthropy, innovation, and successfully raising five children. His education includes a BA (cum laude) from Princeton University (1975), and an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Finance (1977). He has additional accreditation from the American College, including a Certificate as a Family Business Specialist, and graduated from the prestigious Wexner Heritage Foundation program in 1991. He has spent over 40 years in business, mostly with firms and investments he owned and operated.

In the philanthropic world, Louis has started and developed several charities. He supports numerous organizations, and serves on local, national and international boards. He writes and teaches extensively about philanthropy, values, and self-esteem, and has developed several curriculums. He has an extensive track record of service within the foster care system at national, state, and local levels.

Louis particularly enjoys mentoring others to live more successful, prosperous, and inspired lives. Previous professional activity includes owning or operating a number of businesses in the following fields: IT consulting, construction, real estate, advertising, publishing, wholesale home accessories, retail and wholesale diamonds, art gallery, restaurant, furniture distribution, journalism, artist representation, jewelry, and other ventures.
